New clients, new venues...
Sooo what's new in the world of Mind to Win?
Well, new people are coming on board to work on their Mind to Win and the interest is from folks in different places and with differing levels of technical expertise and experience- VERY exciting stuff!
A group of rock stars in N. Ireland just finished a series of Clinics and what blew me away at the last [video] Clinic we had, was how different they all sounded from when we'd started out. As a therapist, I think there are few things more satisfying than when clients not only start getting where they want to go, but- even better- can see how far they've come and celebrate that! Fantastic work and a ton of credit to the trusty band of handlers who've been determined to improve their competitive mental strength for their dogs' sake, never mind their own!
As we hurtle ever closer to winter, it looks like I'll be doing more Clinics in Nottinghamshire so if you're within travelling distance and want to jump in on any that are being organised (and, duh, have free spaces), then please "follow me" to hear about it there first.
As for N. Ireland, there'll be another video night/Clinic coming up in the next couple of months and a "For your Dog's Sake" Clinic at The Patch (Ballyrainey Rd, Comber) so I'll get the dates of those up here as soon as they're finalised.

Mini Confidence Clinic for new competitors
In N. Ireland, the All Ireland Winter League is fast approaching and no doubt there's a fresh crop of new handlers getting ready to make their competitive debut at it. If you're one of them (or if you train people who are), here's an opportunity to practice under competition conditions whilst getting some help with any areas of nervousness or stress, PRIOR to competing.
We all know that "prevention is better than cure", so take this chance to make sure that your first competitive experiences are really good ones (even if they include spectacular eliminations- perhaps even because they do!)

First Mind to Win Weekend held in N. Ireland
The first Mind to Win weekend in N. Ireland was held this past weekend and it was my great pleasure to work with the fun crew who turned out to take part. There were definitely some "aha" moments and a really supportive atmosphere. And the weather even stayed nice- even warm and sunny for Confidence Clinics on the Saturday!
The feedback off participants was amazing and as soon as my brain comes back to earth from the high it's been on since, I'll get some of the comments up there for you to see. Mind to Win WORKS.
Of course, it's all kept confidential for my clients' privacy, but let's just say that you'll know as time goes on and as they change. Already it's been my privilege to watch them win more and enjoy their agility better and I don't think any of this lot are going to be slowing down any time soon!

Future follow-up clinic dates @ The Patch
For those who are taking part in this weekend's Mind to Win Weekend at The Patch, Comber, N. Ireland and those who've previously taken part in Mind to Win/Confidence Clinic courses, there are now follow-up dates for you to continue your journey.
By request, some of you wanted Confidence Clinics during the competitive season, so here you go!
Sun 7th Aug, 2-4pm: Confidence Clinic (+ Body awareness/relaxation focus)
Sun 28th Aug, 2-4pm: Confidence Clinic (+ What other people think focus)
Sun 18th Sept, 2-4pm: Confidence Clinic (putting it all together/ re-membering focus) FULL
Fri 7th Oct, 7.00-9.00: Video Clinic
As you'd expect, the principles of MTW don't change, and there will always be the individually tailored focus on where YOU are at. The extended focus is to add what you might call pieces to the puzzle as your journey progresses and as you are ready to add new strengths and awareness.
Numbers are capped for all Confidence Clinics and registration for the above dates is now open.
